Bringing the timeless nourishment of Punjabi pinnis and panjiri to modern households with integrity, purity, and handcrafted care.
Our story…
Our journey began where many beautiful traditions do - in a Punjabi household, filled with warmth, aroma, and ancient wisdom passed from one generation to the next. Like every Indian family, homemade pinni and panjiri were a way of life for us: nourishment, comfort, and care wrapped into every bite.
When our children were born, we searched for the traditional postpartum ingredients we grew up with - gondh, kamarkas, alsi, methi, makhane, carefully roasted lentils, and more. These are the very ingredients our mothers and grandmothers relied on to restore strength, nurture bone health, support digestion, and rebuild the body after childbirth.
But here in the U.S., they were almost impossible to find in those times.
So, my mother did what mothers always do - she mailed everything from India so I could make authentic postpartum pinnis at home. What began as nourishment during recovery soon became an everyday ritual. Today, pinni and panjiri are staples in our home year-round - not just seasonal treats, but powerful wellness foods rooted in centuries of wisdom.
We noticed the difference immediately: improved digestion, strength, sustained energy, and deeper nourishment. One to two pinni with morning chai or coffee kept us full and energized well into the afternoon - not by accident, but because every ingredient is purposeful, functional, and time-tested.
This is the heart of PinniPanjiri House.
We are honored to share these treasured recipes with you - crafted slowly, intentionally, just the way they were meant to be.
Crafted with care
Not all pinnis and panjiri are the same.
Ours are made with gondh, kamarkas, alsi, makhana, organic seeds and nuts - slow roasted, balanced with housemade desi ghee.
We never use refined sugar, seed oils, or semolina in our products.
No shortcuts. No fillers. Just ingredients chosen for strength, digestion, and nourishment - just like they were meant to be.
